Spinal Stenosis
What is Spinal Stenosis?
Spinal stenosis is a condition where the spaces within the spinal canal, which houses the spinal cord and nerves, become narrowed. This narrowing can put pressure on the spinal cord and nerve roots, potentially causing pain, numbness, or weakness in the arms or legs. Spinal stenosis is most commonly diagnosed in older adults who also suffer from osteoarthritis.
