Chiropractic Care

Chiropractors at the Orthopaedic Spine & Joint Center use cutting edge chiropractic techniques that complement, or replace, traditional styles or treatment to ensure patients become pain free and symptom free as quickly as possible. Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuro-musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach and are specifically trained to  detect and correct problems in the spine, often before the patient is even aware, they exist.
One of the most common and well-known therapeutic procedures performed by Chiropractors is spinal manipulation. The purpose of spinal manipulation is to restore joint mobility and function by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become hypomobile – or restricted in their movement – because of a tissue injury. Other conditions treated with chiropractic care are migraines, fibromyalgia, low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, vertigo, and dizziness.
For new patients please plan around 20 - 30 minutes for your first visit. Follow-up visits may take as few as 5 – 10 minutes. At the end of your visit, your doctor will determine the best treatment plan for your specific needs. Some conditions may be resolved in one visit, while many people require and prefer routine chiropractic care.
